Preliminary court was today. It was simply to address paternal grandma's involvement in the case. Birth mom's lawyer requested a dismissal and he was very optimistic we would get it. We heard that this morning and our hopes soared. Well, we didn't get the dismissal. So court is to be continued. Disappointing.
